  • Pool Committeee
    • The pool committee serves in an advisory capacity to support the operations of the pool. The Committee chair for 2022 season is kevin Radday. Please see below for notes from the last pool committee meeting.

      Notes from 2/25 Meeting:

There were 15 people in attendance, which included Committee Chair Kevin Radday and Board Liaison Justin Williams.

We reviewed plans for Pool Sales which will begin next week for LMCC Members.  A volunteer or two from the Committee is needed so we can expedite the process. Please let Susan know if you can help. We will offer both memberships and cards at the same time this year.  Prices increased $10. For each level of membership.

We also reviewed Social Plans for the season.  First event will be Havana Night held on June 25th. This event will be chaired by Susan Egan and Kevin Radday. We will sell tickets and get a food truck. The Club will handle the alcohol/bar sales.  John Stanley will apply for the permit as we get closer.

Justin Williams will communicate with the Board our desire to offer beer and wine on Sundays at the Pool.

The conversation continued regarding the desire to have more lap swimming hours.  At the last meeting, the committee decided on a compromise with an additional two hours in the morning (7-9).  Nine members from the committee “voted” to continue with that plan, while four voted not.

It is important to note in these notes that we expect our committee to work together and act respectfully of each other in all meetings and discussions.  We are Lake Mohawk County Club!

  • History of the Pool
    • The pool, located at the south end of Lake Mohawk, was built and developed by the Arthur D. Crane Company in 1937.  At the time, it was New Jersey's largest outdoor private swimming pool. Celebrated swimmers such as Esther Williams and Dorothy Evans competed in the pool.  The Lake Mohawk Hawks, our regional swim team, now resides at and competes every summer at the Lake Mohawk Pool.

The Lake Mohawk Pool was acquired by the Lake Mohawk Country Club in 2019. With a rich history, the pool is now proudly part of the future of Lake Mohawk Country Club once again.

This Olympic sized pool offers swimming and recreation for both Members of LMCC, as well as a limited number of private memberships.
